I’m a big believer in the more you wait to tell something in a book, the more you drag out that moment of expectation, the greater it’s going to be. I have mixed feelings about this book, I liked the story, but there are some aspects of it that seemed to forced in my opinion.
So a while ago I saw this fanart on tumblr, someone had drawn all his/her favorite male characters from books and none of them sounded familiar to me so I decided to look them up on the internet and came across this book, and subsequently his character, Bones.
and Bones is turning out to be as tempting as any man with a heartbeat. But before she can enjoy her newfound status as kick-ass demon hunter, Cat and Bones are pursued by a group of killers. She’s amazed she doesn’t end up as his dinner – are there actually good vampires? Pretty soon Bones will have her convinced that being half-dead doesn’t have to be all bad. In exchange for finding her father, Cat agrees to train with the sexy night stalker until her battle reflexes are as sharp as his fangs. Then she’s captured by Bones, a vampire bounty hunter, and is forced into an unholy partnership.
Half-vampire Catherine Crawfield is going after the undead with a vengeance, hoping that one of these deadbeats is her father – the one responsible for ruining her mother’s life.
